CICOT Halal Certificate — The Highest Standard in Thailand

The Central Islamic Committee of Thailand (CICOT) is the primary internationally recognized authority for Halal certification in Thailand. A CICOT certificate means that products and production processes have passed rigorous inspection and certification in accordance with Islamic principles.

For organizations that need to serve food to Muslim employees, clients, or guests, a CICOT Halal certificate is the most reliable proof — not just a claim of "Halal", but verified at every actual step.

What the Halal Certification Process Looks Like

Getting a Halal certificate from CICOT isn't just about submitting paperwork — it means passing real inspections at every stage of production. EED HALAL meets every requirement and can be verified at any time.

01

Step 1 — Source Ingredients from Halal-Certified Suppliers

Every ingredient EED HALAL uses must come exclusively from Halal-certified suppliers. All meat is slaughtered according to Islamic principles (Zabiha) by a Muslim slaughterer. There is absolutely no pork, alcohol, or any prohibited substance. Supplementary ingredients such as sauces, oils, and spices are all label-checked and verified against Halal certificates before use.

Step 2 — Fully Segregated Halal Kitchen with No Cross-Contamination

EED HALAL's kitchen operates as a fully dedicated Halal kitchen. Every piece of cooking equipment — from knives, cutting boards, pots, pans, to preparation areas — is strictly separated from non-Halal food. All staff are trained in Halal practices and thoroughly understand cross-contamination prevention procedures. The kitchen cleaning process also follows the Halal standards set by CICOT.

Step 3 — Pack and Deliver According to Halal Standards, Right to Your Door

Cooked food is packed in food-safe certified containers, sealed tightly to prevent contamination during transport. EED HALAL's delivery vehicles are used exclusively for Halal food, and transport temperatures are monitored to meet food safety standards. Customers may request a copy of the CICOT Halal certificate for their corporate documentation at any time.

100% Ingredient Separation from Non-Halal Food — No Exceptions

One of the biggest concerns for Muslim consumers is cross-contamination from non-Halal food. EED HALAL solves this at the foundation by keeping every process completely separate — both physically and in terms of management systems.

Strictly Separate Ingredient Storage

Refrigerators, shelves, and storage areas for Halal and non-Halal ingredients are kept completely separate. No shared storage under any circumstances. Every ingredient is clearly labeled.

Kitchen Equipment Not Shared

Knives, cutting boards, trays, and all cooking equipment are designated exclusively for Halal food. Color-coded and stored separately. Cleaned according to Halal standards.

Specially Trained Staff

Every team member undergoes comprehensive Halal practice training, understands the importance of ingredient separation, and has their work regularly audited.

Every Order Tracked & Recorded

Every order includes records of ingredient sourcing and production processes. Customers can request traceability information at any time for full transparency.

Annual CICOT Audits

CICOT conducts regular inspections of EED HALAL's premises and production processes on a certification cycle to confirm ongoing compliance — not just a one-time check.

Halal Delivery Separate from Other Food

EED HALAL's food delivery vehicles are not shared with any other food type. Meals are sealed and properly packed throughout transit until they reach the customer.
